Sign PDF

Draw your signature with your finger or mouse, or use a photo of your real handwritten signature, and place it wherever you need: contracts, forms, authorisations. The signature stays sharp at any zoom and the document is never uploaded.

Your files stay on your device: no uploads, no sign-up.

How to sign a PDF

  1. Open the PDF and press Signature.
  2. Draw your signature, or choose From a photo: sign a sheet of white paper with a dark pen and take a picture of it. The background is removed and only your real signature remains.
  3. Drag it into place and resize it from the corner.
  4. Add the date with Text or the Today’s date button, then press Save and download.

Tick “Save this signature on this device” and next time it will be ready to use. You can keep several, for example a full signature and your initials, and delete each one with the ✕ next to it. They stay only in your browser.

Frequently asked questions

Is a drawn signature legally valid?

A drawn or photographed signature is a simple electronic signature. It is accepted for many everyday uses, such as school forms, authorisations and agreements between private parties. When an organisation explicitly requires a qualified digital signature, you need a certified digital signature service instead.

Is my signature saved online?

No. If you choose to save it, it is stored only in your browser’s memory on this device.

Can I sign several pages?

Yes: after placing the signature, go to another page, press Signature again and tap your saved signature. To put your initials on every page in one go, use Initial every page.
