Privacy and cookies

This is a translation of the Italian privacy policy, which is the authoritative version. Last updated: 2 October 2026.

Who runs the site

The site is run by loshop3d (VAT no. 14520090961, Italy). For any privacy question you can write to me via the contacts on loshop3d.it.

Your documents

All operations on PDFs (merging, splitting, signing, editing, compressing, converting, passwords and the rest) happen entirely in your browser. The files you open are not sent, uploaded, stored or analysed on any server: they stay in your device’s memory while the page is open, and you download the result yourself.

Data saved on your device

• Signatures: only if you tick “Save this signature on this device”, the signature (drawn or taken from your photo) is kept in the browser’s local storage (localStorage). It is never transmitted. You can delete it with the ✕ in the signature window or by clearing the site data in your browser settings.
• Theme and language: if you choose light or dark mode or a language from the menu, the choice is remembered by the browser. On the first page of each visit the site reads the language set in your browser to show you the right version; this information is not sent to anyone.
• Files shared from other apps: if you use “Share” on your phone to send a file to the installed app, the file is kept for a few moments in the browser’s storage (IndexedDB), just like when passing a file between tools.
• Passing a file between tools: when you press “Continue with…” (for example from Merge to Sign), the PDF is kept for a few moments in the browser’s storage (IndexedDB) and deleted as soon as the next tool opens it.
• OCR and passwords: the first time you use text recognition or the password tools, the browser downloads the required engine from the site. Processing takes place on your device.
• Offline app: the browser keeps a copy of the site files (pages, scripts, icons) so it also works without a connection. It contains none of your documents.

These are technical storage operations needed for the features you ask for, so no prior consent or banner is required.

Hosting and statistics

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.). Like any hosting service, Cloudflare processes technical connection data, such as IP addresses, to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse. To find out how many people use the site I use Cloudflare Web Analytics which, according to Cloudflare, uses no cookies, does not track users across sites and only provides aggregate statistics (pages visited, country, device type).

Cookies

This site uses no profiling cookies and no third-party cookies.

Donations and Amazon links

The donation buttons (Buy Me a Coffee, PayPal) are simple links: payment takes place on their websites, under their own privacy policies.

The Italian pages of the site also show links to products on Amazon.it. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. The links are simple links: no Amazon scripts or widgets are loaded on the site. If you click a link, Amazon’s privacy policy applies on Amazon. Any prices shown include the date and time they were checked, are accurate at that moment and may change: the price shown on Amazon at the time of purchase always applies.

Your rights

At any time you can ask for information about the data processed, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its processing, by writing to me via the contacts on loshop3d.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it) or the authority of your country.
