Tips and shortcuts
Text already in the PDF can’t be rewritten directly: to correct it, use Cover on the wrong word and then Text on top (or Text with “white background”). Covering hides the text but, unless you tick “Make the cover permanent”, whoever opens the file can still select and copy it.
Shortcuts: Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y undo and redo · Ctrl+S save and download · Ctrl+D duplicate the selected element · arrow keys to move it (faster with Shift) · Del deletes it · double-click a text to edit it · Enter confirms the text, Shift+Enter adds a new line · V T H C P R A to change tool · ← → or Page Up/Down change page, Home and End go to the first and last · + and − to zoom.

Frequently asked questions
Can I change the text that is already in the PDF?
Not directly: cover the wrong word with Cover and type the correct one on top with Text. To make covered text really disappear, tick “Make the cover permanent”.
Is the text I add sharp?
Yes: text, signatures and drawings are saved as vectors, so they stay sharp at any zoom and when printed.
Are there keyboard shortcuts?
Yes: Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Y to undo and redo, Ctrl+S to save, Ctrl+D to duplicate, the arrow keys to move the selected element, Delete to remove it. The full list is under “Tips and shortcuts”.
